We are recyclers of textiles, not plastics.
But we certainly get a lot of soft plastics coming to us.
The great majority of soft plastics we receive are from
businesses recycling their unworn uniforms.
Soft plastics come into Australia as protective packaging for garments. Time to move to 100% compostable packaging.
But rest assured, the soft plastics that Textile Recyclers Australia receive do get recycled. Oh, another point, soft plastic or compostable, do not use stickers as it makes recycling more difficult.
All part of our mission. No landfill.
