Exciting Collaboration Announcement!
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between the East Gippsland Shire Council and Textile Recyclers Australia (TRA) that aims to revolutionise how we handle clothing and textiles.
This is a 6-month trial program that focuses on the responsible management of clothing and textiles in the East Gippsland region.
Together, we are taking a big step towards a more sustainable future.
During this trial, residents of East Gippsland will have the opportunity to drop off their unwanted clothing and textiles at designated collection points throughout the region.
We are committed to keeping as much textile waste as possible from landfills.
This collaboration is a shining example of how organisations can come together to make a tangible difference.
By combining the expertise of the East Gippsland Shire Council and TRA, we are creating a local solution to a global challenge.
We invite all East Gippsland residents to participate in this exciting initiative.
Please note that the trial is at Bairnsdale only.
