The village project – Summer Hill NSW

June 20, 2021

So happy to participate in The Village Project, a collaboration with the UNSW Centre for Sustainable Materials Research and Technology and Textile Recyclers Australia. This is an opportunity to make a real difference through community engagement.

Community involvement is fundamental to making a real impact. This great work done by Bindi Lee, co-founder of The Village Project, Laureate Professor Veena Sahajwalla, founding Director of the Centre for Sustainable Materials Research and Technology (SMaRT) at the University of New South Wales, is a great example of how social enterprise, academia and industry can work together for the better outcomes we are all looking for.
