Panel discussion at Raw Assembly

The beauty of a panel discussion is that it is a discussion. An exchange of ideas, information and perspective. And it was indeed a great panel hosted by Collarts at the Raw Assembly event held recently in Melbourne. RawAssembly, without doubt, is the most professionally presented textile show staged in Australia for years. A big congratulations to Thea Speachley and her team for the incredible effort involved in bringing this event to Melbourne.
The theme for the discussion was “Rethinking the value of fashion: Fashion’s style and substance”. The Panel, expertly chaired by Sarah Conners (Head of Fashion & Sustainability Collarts), Included Teslin Doud – (Country Road), Amanda Bresnan – (Ethical Clothing Australia) and Ben Kaminsky – (Cofounder Textile Recycling Australia)
A great engagement to examine the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
